Epic Trails Host, Eric Hanson – 2018 to 2022

Epic Trails has a new face, Stella Blashock! 

Avid hiker, knowledgeable wilderness explorer and passionate adventurer, Eric Hanson was the the face of the Epic Trails – Hiking project from 2018 through to 2023.  Eric hands off the reins to the Epic Trails project to a new face and voice in the hiking and backpacking community, Stella Blashock.  Check out our new Epic Trails project page for more details!

Epic Trails has proven to be an effective avenue for brands and travel destinations looking to reach the outdoor adventure audience

The project includes:

• The Epic Trails show– a TV series that reaches 120+ million US households  through Outside TV and over 25 regional sports networks, PBS, and is made available to streaming  platforms like Amazon Prime, and has aired internationally in over 134 countries on National Geographic Channel and Extreme Sports Channel.
• The BackpackingTV YouTube channel – a YouTube channel with over 126k subscribers and over 1.7 million views per year.
• The Epic Trails Instagram and Facebook pages – highly active social media accounts, with over 100K engaged fans and followers.
